States: Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida. Practical details checked July 2026.
Before you drive
- Access
- Check the official calendars for Fort Smith, Sloss Furnaces, and Andersonville. The creature stops are a town and a roadside attraction.
- Safety
- Andersonville is an active national cemetery and asks for quiet conduct. Do not enter wetlands or roadside vegetation after dark at the Florida end.
- Season
- No seasonal limit is recorded for the route as a whole. Individual stops may be seasonal; each file says so.
- Distances and times
- The Atlas does not publish drive distances or times. Open the route from your road file in a current mapping provider for live estimates. Traffic, weather, closures, and operating hours change.
