Maryhill Stonehenge
Goldendale, WA · Columbia Gorge
A full-scale concrete Stonehenge replica completed in 1929 as a memorial to Klickitat County service members killed in World War I.
Field note
The monument is not an ancient mystery. Its force comes from the exposed bluff, the war dead named there, and Samuel Hill's nearby crypt.
Exposed site with little shade. Treat the memorial with respect.
